A SCAD short film
Using Nuke I keyed out the green-screen and tried to save as much hair as possible. I also color corrected based on test renders on what the scene was to look like and created a grain plate for the scene. My goal was to create a clean comp with the complete set up for the easy placement of CG background when it was completed. I left a place holder constant (the pink below), in order to make a smooth transition for the editors. This way they didn’t have to mess with the tree at all. All they needed to do was replace the constant with the CG render.
